Very pleasing - Point s accent is somewhat off-putting, although it could well be closer to English as then spoken than a modern accent would be, but his acting is outstanding. There are some very good touches, such as the funeral procession during the credits at the end, but also some not so happy. Fairfax is disappointing. There is only one disk, which may explain the omission of several numbers, including Strange Adventure and (unforgivably) When a wooer goes a-wooing.
Excellent Viewing - Once again, a most enjoyable production of a Gilbert and Sullivan work. My only reservation being the american accent of Jack Point! However don t let this put you off.Magical!
