russell watson live in nz. - i was caught up with goosebumps listening to him, and also with the nz. girl, haley, singing that maori tune. i think his and her voice are wonderful, and he can sing any sort of tune, which is really a gift. wonderful inspiring young man.
What voice? - My review of Voice in NZ can be seen on the Voice-Live site.Russel Watson is a light weight singer, who s productions are ideally suited for the teeny bopper end of the market.
ELEMENTARY MY DEAR WATSON - AMAZING,FABULOUS,SORRY BUT I AM FRENCH AND I CAN T FIND OTHER WORDS TO DESCRIBE THIS DVD.A MUST,BUY IT YOU WON T REGRET IT,AND I DO HOPE WE LL GET MORE OF RUSSELL IN THE NEAR FUTURE.
Disappointed - Great voice and singer but found after listening to his CD, this concert(DVD) was a disappointment. Nothing against Russell. It was the audience who were not ready for him! It is time New Zealanders woke up. Some spontaneous response from the audience would have lifted this concert. I will be reluctant to purchase another DVD of his concerts if they are anything like this one.Russell a great entertainer though for us English.
memories of Russell in concert - After seeing RUSSELL live in concert in Glasgow I just had to have the NEW ZEALAND DVD. Watching it takes me back to the concert. This handsome young man comes on to the stage with a smile that lights up your heart. He sings TORNA A SURRIENTO the power in the VOICE is amazing. AVE MARIA tingles the spine, CARUSO brings on the tears. Then it is VOLARE and the mood is happy again. NELLA FANTASIA, E LUCEVAN LE STELLE and SOMEWHERE all prove how much emotion RUSSELL puts into his songs. Then we get to NESSUN DORMA which makes the hairs on your neck stand up when he hits the top notes. When the audience stands to show their appreciation I am there with them.Again and Again I watch this DVD ,each time I feel all the emotions I felt at the Glasgow concert. There is no other singer in the WORLD that has made me feel like this. RUSSELL is WONDERFUL. HE deserves to be called THE VOICE. Sandy from Scotland.
